Looking at Writing Through My Eyes by Gabriela Crespo

Gabriela is from Miami, Florida. She is majoring in Rehabilitation Therapy and hopes to become an athletic trainer in the future. 

“Even though I do not major in English, I always had a love for writing and considered myself pretty good at it. In this project, I was able to learn new things and apply my writing skills within it. I had never created a blog before so it was really fun to make one and style it to my liking. I was able to explain and demonstrate the reasons why I liked writing, how I have grown as a writer throughout the years, and how it helped me also become a better student. Writing will always have a place in my heart which is why it is such an honor to have an opportunity to receive this award. It proves that hard work pays off, especially when you’re doing something you love.”
