Pooja Lad is majoring in Mathematical Science (Statistics Track) and minoring in biology and computer science. After graduation, Pooja hopes to work in bioinformatics or pursue a Master's in Data Science.
When asked to reflect on this project, Pooja says, “In this project, I enjoyed exploring my experience with a language I grew up with but no longer speak as frequently. I've always loved writing for the way it allowed me to express myself—make tangible what wasn't. Sharing this part of myself with others was unexpectedly relieving, and I hope other young students can read my writing and be unashamed to disclose the most vulnerable parts of themselves, too.”
